The Berker production plants
The Schalksmuehle plant is, as it always has been, the head office for the central management. This is the location of the business management and managerial staff for each of the following central areas: Overall Sales and Marketing, Development and Construction, Controlling, Company Planning and Production.
The following are also in Schalksmuehle: Specialist departments such as Sales, Central Order Processing, Product Management, Advertising and Marketing, Central Laboratory and Test Lab. Quality Assurance, Data Processing, Materials Management, Personnel and Finance departments.
At its site in Ottfingen near Olpe, Berker accommodates one of the most advanced production facilities for installation equipment. This is also where the central warehouse facility is located, from which products are taken for delivery throughout the world. As a result of concentrated investments in building, assembly and production facilities, the Ottfingen plant will continue to be extended and modernised on the basis of the latest economical thinking.
